CVD Finishing
Compression routers are designed to address the common problems of delamination and fraying during machining of layered composite materials such as CFRP and GFRP.
The right-hand and left-hand helix of the compression router creates cutting forces in opposite directions. This squeezes the composite layers together, minimizing fraying and delamination providing an excellent surface finish without damaging the material.
